Auxillary fan runs any time my heater or AC is on
My aux fan runs even if it -10 and I have my climate control set to be Hot. My Aux fan shuts down if I press the OFF button on my climate control.
I know what the aux fan is for so I also know it shouldn't run when the AC is not on , it never has until a couple weeks ago this started.
No indication of a problem on the VAG COM, could this be a control module or something?

Mine does the exact same thing. I took it to the dealer (I'm still under warranty) ...
but the dealer insisted that the fan running while it is snowing immediatly after I start the car is normal (with A/C off of course)...
Doesn't make any sense to me. I also suggested the module, the dealer said they checked the module and the temp sensors and everything was working properly.
From researching on the boards I suspect it is probably a bad temp sensor..
