Built in Equalizer question.....
I have been playing around a little bit with the built in hidden EQ. I was wondering what are some of you guys experiences with this. What numbers are coming up best. Right now I havnt found the right setup. I am no true audiophile, but I do know I like a little more kick in my music. For the Bose setup, what are you finding works best? I've got an XM setup now, so I am switching music styles constantly from Rock, Metal, Rap, to Classical. Any ideas.

I ended up with this after weeks of experimentation, and have had no inkling to change it since. The first four reflect a desire for more deep bass, a bit less upper midrange, and boost in upper treble, although I combine this with turning the treble tone control down 2 clicks. Found this was the smoothest I could get the treble. The last 4 could easily be 5555, just how I ended up. I usually keep the rear fader down 5 clicks.
If you set the best sound for the front alone, then set it best for the back alone, you will find the bass is too loud when you combine them. I solved this by dropping the rear bass EQ setting (started out at 6444), and by keeping the rear faded down.
