burning up oil; low oil...prematurely...HELP!

hi all.
i just changed my oil 1500 miles ago with Amsoil 0w30
i don't see any signs of an oil leak.
However, today my low oil sensor went off.
i pulled over, checked my oil and it was very low!!

Any issues anyone seen with Audi 4.2 burning up oil? anyone have this issue?

i need help! thanks!

Any oil smoke coming from exhaust when you accelerate or idle?

You should be able to see some evidence of it burning if that much was consumed.. either that or you didnt fill it all the way when you changed it..

Possible the oil drain plug is a touch loose?

How often you change your oil?

Have you been monitoring your oil on a regular basis?
