Default Here's a crazy idea:

Pull the dipstick and check.

I usually dump in six quarts, then I run the car few a few minutes and check the oil.

Default How can I take some oil out... Oil change was 200 miles ago..dipstick shows higher than where it

shoudl be,,,Also, manual actually says 6.6 Qrts..I remember the tech put in almost 6.9..I have the Mobil 1 bottle and there is very little in it..So, How do I take this oil out..or is .3 qrts not too much to worry about?

Default How much above the cross-hatched area is it?

How does the run?

Not easy to take oil out.

Default I probably wouldn't sweat it.

Not good to be over full, but a quarter of a quart isn't a big deal.

Default Don't worry about it...if it really bothers you....

loosen the oil drain plug and pop it out for about 1/2 second and retighten. That should allow 1/3-1/2 quart out. If it was me, I wouldn't worry about it in the slightest.

Cheers,
