I have been trying to diagnose an overheating issue on my C5 allroad that started this week. I wanted to check the ECU temp versus gauge temp to see if my sensor was bad. I got into the climate control codes by holding recirc and up arrow then selecting code 51 on the right display. It initially showed the temp in C and it matched what the gauge was displaying.
Somehow I have screwed up the settings. Now if I select 51 and press recirc to display temp is just shows me a static value:
Using the fan speed buttons I can change the values from 0 - 00 to 3 - 58 or so. It is no longer displaying the temp. Also I get no heat coming out of the vents, it feels like the AC is always on even if I put the temp on hi for both left and right zones.
