Clock Spring
I need more info about this devise - I know where it is and how to get to it etc... what is it responsible for - what does it do? Apparently VAG says I have a problem with it as well my ABS light and ESP light are on. Car drives great - no issues - but the ABS is not working - tested it in a parking lot. If you can guide to another site that can explain it I would appreciate that. BTW - A6 2.7T '02 Thanks

The clockspring is a device which allows electrons to fire the steering wheel airbag and also allow the steering wheel to rotate (a desired trait).

The clockspring is also the steering angle sensor G85, this would explain why the abs/esp light is on and those codes should be related.
