Computer bug?
It all started with intermittent problems with the remote trunk opening. Then it changed in having ABS and ESP lights on from time to time. Finally it transformed in intermittent brake light ON(in the instrument panel) and beeping. Vag gave the error:
17087 - Brake Switch (F): Electrical Malfunction
P0703 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent.
Replaced switch: last problem still there. Any ideas?

Battery seems to be fine 12.4V (engine off). I tried playing with the ABS module: I don't know what happened but I had to recode it. Could it lose data by being accessed? Anyway, ESP and ABS panel lights were on and they went off after a few minutes of travel. The beep and the brake sign still comes on blinking from time to time but no error codes.

If you search the forum, you'll see that sometimes the battery gives no other warning
of pending failure other than some random electrical/electronic faults. Otherwise I would go looking at battery connections and grounds.
