Coolant Reservoir cracks? (stress cracks?)

Coolant Reservoir cracks? (stress cracks?)
My coolant reservoir appears to have what looks like stress type cracks developing, tho' not near any hoses or cap opening. It'll be in for service shortly anyway but has anyone seen this?
I'm asking the dealer to look at it & replace the reservoir, don't like the looks of it.

Very common with all Audi's....there is even a procedure to do it on audipages....it's very, very simple. Sheesh. It took me 10 minutes to change out the reservoir on our 00 4.2A6Q. I didn't see any bleeders on the hoses leading into the firewall...I just disconnected the sensor and the hoses and put the new reservoir in place hooking everything up in reverse order. Topped up the reservoir with 50/50 audi coolant mix and started it up. Works fine, self bled.

No.... that looks nasty...
mine has a series of linear looking stress type cracks on the side facing you as you look at the reservoir, lower half. No leakage at all or loss of coolant, but it looks almost like it would from an impact of some kind tho' I know that hasn't happened.
We'll see what they say tomorrow.
