CV joint split boot
Can anyone help me out? I posted to an old thread:

I'm looking for a split or quick boot for the outer cv joint.
Yes, I know this isn't the preferred way to fix this problem, but I'm short on time right now and this is a quick fix until I can have a mechanic pull it and repair.

Re: I had both CV boots replaced in less than 2 hours...
And I leave town again Monday for the week and am booked through the weekend.
I was looking to bandaid the issue for a few weeks.

Yes. Was very shocked that nobody had a split boot.
NAPA doesn't carry any at all. Auto Zone and Advance Auto Parts are really the only other two in the area.
Well, good thing is, I'll be downtown Chicago for the week. I think I'll be able to get by down there without it for a day or so.
