engine Code??

engine Code??
So this might be a dumb question. I have a 1998 A6 Quattro Wagon. I have no idea what the engine code is. Either an AHA or AFC or whatever. This is my first Audi and I have no clue. Help me out.

A few places you will find it...
One is on the engine itself. If you remove the engine covers and peer down to the top of the block in front of the cylinder head there will be an engine code stamped and coated with a varnish.
Easiest place to check is on the large sticker in the spare tire well. Its in German first, but is abbreviated "Eng. Code/Trans. Code".
I'd be surprised if it isn't AHA.
