engine longevity

which engine has the lonest longevity assuming each is cared for at the same level? And what are the maximum amount of miles you think you can get for each engine?

2.7T Include turbo longevity
2.8L
3.0L
4.2

id say the 2.7t is the shortest (depending on the amount of turbo abuse)

starting up, imedatly flooring it...not letting them cool down right

Speaking purely about the long block (heads and block)

I'd say they're all about the same. In any case its really of no concern because given just reasonable care these engines will far outlast your interest in owning them. Now if your interested in owning something for 300,000 miles then I would get the 2.8 first and the 2.7T last otherwise I wouldnt worry much. I tore down a 2.7T with 186K on the clock last week (water pump locked up, bent valves etc)you could still see the friggen hone marks on the cylinder walls, amazing.
