Febi Transmission Fluid
I'm about to flush the transmission fluid on my A6 1999 model, 2.4. Tell me, is the Febi (Biltein) Transmission Fluid safe to use on this vehicle?
Thanks in advance.
Next if its a tip, do you really mean flush? Never recommended. Service, yes. I generally suggest only OEM fluid as compatability is important and the manufacturer recommended only the OEM fluid (esso somethingorother, resold as audi).
i guess you are new and have not followed the millions of similar discussions. You might want to search and get much more info.

And sorry for not being elaborate. My car is an Automatic/ Tiptronic. I saw a video on youtube where a guy was refilling the gearbox with a Febi ATF. so, I just wondered if the fluid is good for the car.
For the past two months my car was experiencing some intermittent delay in gear shift especially when I drive off from a robot/traffic light at a slightly downhill road. I thinking the cause of this is low ATF because I do not experience any delays on a levelled road. here is the site

Another issue! Well, not that I'm intending to be a bother. I never used to feel or hear my car when it changes gears, but recently I'm experiencing an audible but deep exhaust noise and a slight jerk when the gears changes. An A6 is a luxury car and does not produce such noise unless of cause, there were modifications to the exhaust. I have scanned it for codes from two different places and I got an "all clear", no faults. could the issue be that the care is old now (1999 model, 2.4, Auto tip).

Change your fluid and filter, fill it up properly. You may also be developing exhaust leaks at the flex joints.
