Lambda O2 sensor engine location? V8 4.2!

Did you figure out what vacuum line it is? I can't figure out what it does from the pic.
Here is a good site with info on How to decode OEM VW part number and Audi part numbers, maybe you can ease your worry if the differing O2 sensor numbers were due to a normal revision/upgrade.

Hello Atomic! well yes I tought a lot to go with a mechanic (I never go to the stealer only for parts) thats why I posted here about the location, but the job was easier than I tought

This was the other vacuum line broken...

I just connected the vag com and before sensor replacement and vacuum lines fixing I had:

4 Faults Found:
17538 - Fuel Trim; Bank 2 (Mult): System too Lean
P1130 - 35-00 - -
17536 - Fuel Trim; Bank 1 (Mult): System too Lean
P1128 - 35-00 - -
17539 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor; B2 S1: Internal Resistance too High
P1131 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
17549 - Load Calculation Cross Check: Implausible Value
P1141 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

and now:

1 Fault Found:
17538 - Fuel Trim; Bank 2 (Mult): System too Lean
P1130 - 35-00 - -

looks like you had a broken line to a 'combi valve' as they are known. There are two of them, one for each bank. Check the line to the other one.


But judging from the 17539 code, you replaced the 02 sensor on the bank that had the broken vacuum line in the picture. So it's likely you still have a broken or leaking vacuum line on that bank you replaced the 02 sensor.

hello! yes you can see in the photos the 2 broken lines I replaced them, they both go to a T and then to a pierbrung sensor on top.

I didnt found any other vacuum lines
