modifications
So far I've decided that some 19" wheels would be nice and I've also been thinking about the GAIC Tip Chip to shorten the tiptronic shifting. Do I need the 2.7t + the engine chip in order to use the tip chip? Or can I just use the tipchip independantly?
Any other reccomended modifications? (I'm also thinking about a pioneer navigation system, if the one I buy doens't come with one...)
Bottom line is choose what you like and what fits your pocket!
Now you might wonder why the new RS-6 has optional 19" wheels. THe answer is that the RS-6 uses a larger diameter tire than the other A6s so that the aspect ratio of the tires on the Rs-6 is not as low.

IMO your parents should buy you a Honda and let you crack that up first.
Yes you will have an accident. Yes you will rub curbs. Yes it will take years to learn how to drive well.
*IF* you were serious about cars and driving you would take a driving course and learn how to become a better driver.
I could write down all the reasons why you shouldn't even think about getting 19"s from the fact that they will weigh a ton and slow the car down significantly, increase braking distance, etc. etc. but I'm not going to get into it.
As for the Pioneer Nav system, forget about it, you shouldn't even listen to the radio when you are first driving.
Bottom line is that The Fast and the Furious isn't real, you will not pop behind the wheel and know how to drive.
Stop spending mom and dad's money, get a job, learn how to drive, worry about school and then worry about 19" wheels.
