Mounting a camera?
Hey everyone,
Any ideas on a safe, easy way to mount a camcorder in my 2000 A6?
I own a Sony vx2000 which is a pretty standard miniDV camera, just a bit bigger and heavier than most. It does have the normal tripod screws on the bottom.
I'm looking for a solution that (in no particular order)
(1) is easy to implement and doesn't damage my car's interior
(2) allows me to add or remove the camera quickly
(3) is safe, in that upon a collsion, it won't hurl the camera at me, or hurl it at something which will redirect it towards me
(4) (optional) allows me to swivel the camera while using it
There must be some solution for this; I've seen track mpegs where ordinary cars have camcorders securely fastened.
Any thoughts would, as always, be much appreciated.
