Default No heat at Idle. Where else can I look?

Since I can remember my car stops putting out hot air after about 45seconds sitting idle.

I had my engine dropped for my stage 3 and a total TB job.

Things that were replaced that might have caused it:
water temp sensor
water pump
thermostat and fluids

I got the car back and still no heat at Idle.

Where to look next?

Bleed the cooling system or return to the shop that pulled the engine to have them do it.

Default if it did it before the engine pull would putting new coolant in after the job not fix it?

Or is it air thats not in the engine so even with the engine out air still there?

Only if it was bled right. If not bled right both before and after it would both times.

Default re-bleed. If it bleeds out coolant at the core lines, then you could have a leak..

a slow leak will cause the system pressure to drop, which will cause the core to not get fed warm coolant. BTDT with my A4, which had a leaky radiator. As soon as I got the new rad in, it worked great, even at idle.

Default Chances are it's the heating/ac control system.

But what escapes me is the idea that doing a Stage III upgrade including normal maintenance could fix something that has NOTHING to do with what you did!

You could have a plugged heater core or a valve that isn't letting coolant into the core or a control system that isn't passing air across the heater core.

Default There is no valve that blocks/allows coolant to the core, it's always open.

If he's got heat with revs, and none at idle, it's an air problem.

If I bring the idle up a little it does work.
