This weekend it started working again on my car...
I had the dealer program it to auto-lock (I think it's like 12mph) and it worked fine for a few weeks and then stopped working. Then it started working again for a few days and then stopped. I had the same experience :( more....
I had the dealer program my key to lock all the doors. It stopped working after 3 weeks. The codes for single press unlock still works.
This is frustrating. Why does the program quit after 3 weeks? Anyone have a logical explanation - gremlins don't count.

What rev s/w is yours?
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/525/newa6_35_centrallocking_before.jpg"></center><p>I seem to recall someone recently posted that his overseas dealer told him it was a known bug with D38 rev s/w in central locking.
As you can see, my 5/01 build 2001 has D34 so I could see D38 being a reasonable rev number for 2002/2003....

....no vag-com, so I don't know about mine. My car build date is
June 2002, so it must be one of the earlier '03 S6's (of which there were not very many in any case).
The dealer took delivery of the car just a days before I bought it on November 10th 2002, so I don't really know where the car was or what it was doing from June - November!!
