Reverse Squeaking Problem?
Anyone have this issue? While the car is in reverse, and backing up, everytime I apply the brakes at a certain pressure, I hear a loud squeak. Every single time.. As long as the brake is applied at the same pressure, it will make the sound. I took it to the service department, they said theyll fix it. They said the 'fixed' it and that the problem was just lots of brake dust in rotors the pads. I drove off, backed up and problem was still there. But I didn't have time to tell the rep. Anyone else have this issue?

the problem is with the brake pad itself[material made from].it's a real hard pad that likes to rust up.look at the rotors and see if they look brown and if the imprint of the pads are on the rotor,if so that's the problem[will also happen to front]

High pitched or low pitched?
I get a low pitch noise more like a cross between a squeal and a hum - a squm perhaps? ;-)
I've been suffering vibration around 70mph for a while and I'm currently waiting for replacement front wheel bearings to see if that's the problem (dealer's tech not sure!). This has been warping the brake discs as the discs are fixed to the hub and anything that causes the wheel to wobble will pull the disc unevenly through the calipers. Given the fine tolerances even when the brakes are off, I'd think this is most likely causing constant heating as it rubs, warping the discs and glazing up the pads. Result - squm when reversing slowly.
Any vibration problems? Do the wheels feel warm after a long high speed run, even if only using moderate braking? Both symptoms in my case.
My vibration was very faint (almost impossible to notice most of the time) from 15,000 miles but by 30,000 was noticable at 73mph almost all the time.
Will post if bearings fix the problem (when I finally get them!).

Yeah, that's a symptom too.
Brakes will vibrate (steering wheel shakes) when braking at higher speeds (say over 60mph) and will just feel "uneven" like the brakes are going on, off, on, off when slowing down from below 60.
Sounds like your discs are clipping on the rotors, probably warped as you say.
