<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b4d600b3127cceb4b449d8de470000001610"></center><p>i was looking at some spec's and KKB prices for my car, and i foudn somewhere that i have a RUST WARRANTY!! and the warranty said 144 months and unlimited miles.
i have my original calipers, and they have rust all over them. I was once going to paint my calipers, so i cleaned ALL the rust off, then i washed my car yesterday, and its back today!
so, does that rust go under this "rust" warranty?
if not, what should i do about my calipers. I think im gonig to paint them SILVER, and put black audi decals on them. i have a black car, with stock wheels. I dont want to attract too much attention to my wheels.
any opinions on what color i should paint my calipers?

Read the fine print.
"Rust or Corrosion Warranty: This warranty covers the vehicle's sheet metal, and protects you from rust and corrosion that are severe enough to cause a hole - surface rust is not covered. However, if you keep your car washed and waxed rust shouldn't be a problem."
The body of the car is 100% galvanized inside and out. Nothing about the calipers. Now if the rust on the calipers is so bad it impairs their function.....

...then you've got some serious oxidation occurring.
By the time the rust degrades the caliper housing, your car would have turned into a pile of iron oxide dust and otherwise intact interior and exterior trim.
