S6 conversion

Ne one here ever try to update a 4.2 to S6 specs? Or....is there a chip which will equal the S6 mods?(cams, intake, exhaust) thanks

here's where Definitely accuses me of tampering with evidence... and where is his proof I ask you!

Bored and stroked the S6 engine from the A6 4.2L version?! only a fool would insinuate such nonsense!

The difficult part would be modifying the trunk into Avant form factor. Bore and stroke are same,

exhaust, timing, electronics and other miscellaney are different. Torque and hp are just a bit higher up too.

I know bore and stroke are same, but what's different about the engine again? (RS6, not S6 nut here)

"A retuned magnesium variable intake manifold with two-stage length adjustment permits the realisation of all the objectives associated with a sporting engine, such as high power output and a generous flow of torque. The longer air intake path ensures high torque even at low speeds, the shorter one enables full power output to be developed at high speeds.

Camshafts with greater lift and modified timing ensure optimum cylinder filling, with the inlet valve timing matched to the engine's relevant operating point by a hydraulic camshaft actuator. At higher engine speeds an additional vacuum-controlled flap opens in the air cleaner housing and ensures that the engine can "breathe" more freely. The revised exhaust system with reduced back pressure creates a pleasant, sporting acoustic and has a high gas flow rate."
