speedometer bouncing?

speedometer bouncing?
Has anyone seen this? My speedometer seems to intermittently bounce.
That is, when I'm driving say 70 (with cruise on), I see it bounce up to 72-73. The cruise system doesn't respond to that change, nor is it really cruise related since it happens when it's off too. It has happened on several occasions, with various temperatures and road elevations.
Very weird. And, no I'm not going nuts!
