This is a better post than your first; there's a little more to go on here.
Is the Check Engine Light on? Have you checked for any codes?

Hi no engine check light on and I have had the AA mechanic out and he has run a scan on it and he tells me there is a fault between the fuel pump fuse and the fuel pump itself. When the car won’t start he is only getting 0.9 volts should read 12volts.The car is stranded at work I am able to start it every day but it only runs until it is up to working temp then it shuts down, I can only crank it over after that no fuel up at the fuel rail and no pump going.

I would guess that the Fuel Pump Relay has a burned contact which is limiting the amount of voltage and amperage to your fuel pump.

You may be able to bypass the relay with a jumper, but only if you are an accomplished mechanic who likes taking risks. If it were me, I would have it towed to a shop that can do a proper diagnosis.

I would not trust that diagnosis. You need someone with VAG-COM who can dig a little deeper.

Bypass the relay with a paperclip. If that does it buy a relay. If it doesn't, you need some VAG (don't we all?).
