Suggestions on window tinti %

And I got a $50 ticket in Virginia for having 35% instead of 50% tint on my Z with tan interior.
I should have checked the statues but I relied on the installer of the tint. Now the ticket shows up on my driving record for the next few years. Live and learn.

Mine are all at 22% and I am very happy with the results. Another thing
to consider is what climate you live in. 20% is darker than allowed by law here but the cops in the Desert don't really mess with you about tint as long as your not a kid in a rice car.
In a cooler climate that might not be true and in an area like Boston or NY I doubt you really need much darker than 30%

1. the pic looks like the 20% is pretty much blacked out -- can you still still see into the car a bit?
2. My tint guy said he needed to use Greystone -- does this differ much from regular tint?
