Sunroof wouldn't close - Solution: Reboot!
Sunroof siezed to operate having been behaving badly last few months. During closing, it would bounce back and reopen itself. I had to choose tilt first and close it. Finally stopped working alltogether. I checked all the fuses. Opened it with hand crank to see if anything jammed it. Works manually no problem.
Also, I noticed that the cigarette lighters (both the one on the center console and rear passenger one) don't work. The ring shaped light at the base comes on when the headlights are on but nothing else. I wanted to use a battery charger for a camcorder and spend $60 before checking to see they work (I don't smoke so I didn't know they didn't work).
Where can I find a diagram for the fuse locations? What are thes fuses under the hood left side by the windshield under the black plastic cover?
Thanks much for info.

I aired out the car and turned on the AC - Then closed the windows, but the sunroof wouldn't close. Through playing with the switch I actually had it fully open, but it wouldn't close!
Solution - seemed like a computer problem to me. I disconnected the battery cable for 10 minutes, hooked up the cable again, and all was well!
Kinda the A6 version of a reboot!
Man seriously thank you for this one
!
