Is there any procedure links for replacing shocks, simlar to the one just posted for CA's?
Quick procedures for rear:
1. Remove the 2 8mm(?) nuts that hold the parking brake cable to the lower control arm
2. Remove the brake caliper from the caliper carrier.
3. Remove the outer pivot bolt on the LOWER control arm. IMPORTANT NOTES about this method:
- the outer bolt on the lower control arm is used for alignment purposes. Before removing the bolt - place a mark on the bolt-side washer and place a corresponding mark on the control arm. Clean the surfaces first and use a permanent marker. Do not make your mark on the nut-side washer - this washer has to much play and will not be accurate. When you re-install the bolt, line up the marks and your alignment will be maintained. I've done this multiple times and the alignment, as measured at a good alignment shop, is always spot-on.
4. Remove the lower shock nut and bolt
5. Remove the 2 bolts that attach the upper spring perch to the body.
Steps 1 & 2 allow you to push the lower control arm down. This, in turn, allows the shock-spring combo the slide down and out.
6. Using spring compressors, disassemble the spring/shock combo.
7. Re-assembly is the reverse of these steps. Use a new lower shock nut and bolt and 2 new upper spring perch to body bolts.

After you remove the outer lower alignment bolt, that lower control arm has a little spring to it, since it still is bolted to the lower subframe.
This can make getting the shock out a little challenging. Don't be afraid to push down hard on that lower control arm, you won't hurt anything. Just be careful since it does tend to spring back.
