Upper Control Arms
I have a 2001 Audi A6 2.7t. This is my second Audi as my previous car was an A4. About the same mileage I had to replace the upper control arms in the front of the car. I believe I am hearing the same noise again.
My question is does the brand of the control arm I purchase matter from a longevity/durability standpoint?
Would anyone suggest I replace anything else while I was in there?

I just replaced all my control arms and links, used Febi control arm kit. I took into account age of vehicle and cost of replacing 1 control arm ( $70 ) versus $500 for kit. If you don't want to replace all, then replace both upper control arms at once....Good Luck..
