Vag Com code question

I'm getting occasional power issues + intermittent idle issues. Needless to say I went out and bought a Vag Com to see what the hell was wrong. I got about 5 codes for the engine all pretty much having to do with bank 1. I should mention that I had the timing belt kit and service done last Dec. After that I was sent away for a few months (work). I'm worried that they didn't time it right and now it's over the 90 day warranty.
I figured I'd start with 1 code at a time. Dose this mean that I have to redo the timing?
16399 - Bank 1: Camshaft B (Exhaust): Advance Setpoint not Reached (Over-Retarded) P0015 - 002 - Lower Limit Exceeded
btw I'm new to my Bentley manual as well but I couldn't find 16399 or P0015 in it. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

It sounds like a timing belt alignment issue. Need to get back in there and check/reset the cams. :-(

Call me crazy but I'm considering making this a DIY project. Yes I know I'll need to buy a few Audi specific tools but it'll still be cheaper than paying a dealership 1-1.5k Have any of you guys done your timing belts/timing before. Any tips would be appreciated.
Btw this is not my first major project on a car. However, I've never done any engine work. Very interested in learning though.
