Who will still keep their car after the warranty expires? I tend to drive my cars to the ground, and
do expect some repairs past warranty. That's still cheaper (albeit a little inconvenient at times) than buying another new car. Just curious.

get an extended warranty....
...my factory warranty expired just about a year ago, and I've already had enough repairs to cover 75% of the cost of a 3yr/36K mile extended warranty. Even minor things are expensive, especially when repaired at the dealership. If your turbos go bad, that's a few $K right there.

I meant after OEM and extended warranty expires. Are you really going to sell your car when you have
no warranty of any kind left? With all the recent complaints here, I wonder if the only way people would own Audi's is with a warranty intact.

My '04 4.2 is the car I have always wanted and I am planning to keep her for a loooong time!
I have never kept a car for more than 3 years but this time I am planning on a long lasting relationship. Of course temptation is always lurking but the C5 design is a classic!

I will shop for a pre owned RS 6 in two years when my warranty expires.
I don't trust any aftermarket warranty and I will never be that guy who takes a hit on purchasing new (but thats just me, to each his/her own).

(Raises hand) I plan on keeping my '00 2.7T for the long haul.
I've had previous Audis (as well as a few other VW products) to well over 200k miles, and I expect to do the same with this car. I also expect to replace the turbos some day (they'll be upgraded of course) as well as the normal suspension parts and occasional engine seals, plus whatever else might fail in the next 100k miles or so. I do my own work and usually get parts at wholesale, so other than the time factor, repairs don't bother me too much. They just give me a chance to learn more about the car and add some performance along the way. I will probably stay with Audis if for no other reason than that I know them very well.

I got an aftermarket extended warranty for 3/36 so at least the next 3 years 
Probably the next 4 - 5 years i'm sure since I will be buying a house sometime in the near future and I probably need to marry that GF of mine.
