Default Window One-Touch Operation is Gone!! EEks!

Ok, so recently my alternator went out on me. After replacing my intial bad battery before doing the alternator swap I noticed that the windows would not roll down using the one-touch method. I had to hold down the button.

On Friday, my bad alternator was swapped out for a remanaufactured one. However, I still have the same issue with the windows.

Is there some sort of procedure I don't know about to get the one-touch operation working again?

thanks in advance!

This is normal. Close all the windows completely. Then, hold each button down until the window goes all the way down and hold it for 5-10 seconds. Then pull up on each button until it reaches the top and hold it for 5-10 seconds. You can do them individually or 2 at a time, whatever. You just need to "retrain" the window. Takes about 1 minute.

Will it work if one of my windows doesn't go up or down?

I believe each window is independant of the others...so you can program the 3 that work and the 4th (obviously) you can't raise or lower, so....it just won't move.

You do not have to do all windows at once...you can do one at a time.

Cool, thanks! I'll try that when I get home.
