A6 CD Display
I have an 2008 A6 Avant. Question - How do I name the tracks of a CD?
The setup allows me to name the CD but I can't find a way to name the individual track titles.

To add to this. Some purchased CDs incorporate the CD-TEXT already, but through iTunes you could copy the CD using Apple Lossless and then burn it to a new disc to get the titles for the tracks.

What I want to do is enter the individual track titled on the MMI screen.
When you put a CD into the changer you can enter the title of the CD but there doesn't seem to be any way to name the song tracks.
All that shows on the MMI screen is the title of the CD that is playing then track 1, track 2. and so on.

What you desire is not possible through MMI. MMI only allows naming CDs and you must use CD-TEXT directly encoded into the disc to get track names. Sorry! While few people buy home CD players these days, many of the CD changers also operated in a similar way. Fortunately, this can be done through the process I mentioned above. If CDDB has the track titles already, you should be able to create the new CD on a modern computer in just a few minutes.
