The good and the bad about driving an S6.
I am on the highway, in the midst's of a three alarm cop warning on my V1, and this guy pulls up beside me in his A4, slows down and gives me a thumbs up.
I'm driving along 170 Street in Edmonton and come to a stop at a red light. A car pulls up beside me and stars taking pictures of my car. I open my window and they do the same and shout Great Car! I thank them and give them a taste of the sound of my 10 cylinders as I pull away from the intersection.
I check into the hotel and the attendant says, welcome Mr. Lomeland. I said how do you remember my name? he says - I remember the car. Thanks a lot I say and smile.
It is great to be just a bit of a celebrity, even if it is the car that gets the honors.
The bad - I am no longer anonymous.

Bringing Audi to Life for Audi Fans
That's one reason I've enjoyed my Audis here. Anyone who really knows cars, knows Audis, are quick to compliment me on any of my prior Audis; but overall I love the low key aspect of Audi in L.A. There are tons of A4s here, but very few S cars and A8s.
