P0106 code

P0106 code
I bought 2006 A6 3.2 since buying the car I have gotten a p0106 code Map sensor. I have change the sensor, spark plugs and have clean the throttle body and I am still getting the code. I notice on the on the intake hose the Resonator is missing anyone know if that would be the cause of the code?

The resonator is before the throttle body so it is unlikely it would have any affect on the MAP sensor. Do you have a VAG-COM scan? It may tell you more information such as if there is an open or shorted connection (indicative of a bad cable/MAP sensor) or implausible signal which could indicate a bad vacuum leak. Just because you have a new MAP sensor does not mean that it is not faulty, particularly if it is not OEM. I have had bad luck with recent aftermarket parts recently, some of them are real junk.
The resonator should not be removed, it is there for a good reason. If it is missing, make sure the port where it was connection is plugged, otherwise you will suck dirty air into your engine.
