2016 vs 2017 A7

I am considering leasing a 2016 Audi A7 by yearend but am not sure on whether I should wait for 2017 models. Does Audi have a 5 year refresh cycle or 8 year? 5 years would mean the A7 is due for a new look next year, considering it came out in 2012. But a completely re-design seems unlikely since they just did a slight facelift on the 2016 model year. My understanding is that the prologue concept will be rolled onto the A8 first before making their way into the A6 and A7, whenever that is. Any ideas and thoughts? Should I go for a 36 month lease on a 2016 A7 or wait till next year? Thank you, in advance, for any advice anyone would be willing to share.

The 2016 is a mid-cycle refresh. The 2017 may have a few tweaks and options shuffling, but any significant changes are highly unlikely. Most articles I have seen indicate a MY 19 release for the new A7. I have a 2016 and you won't be disappointed, it is an awesome car.
