Default 20x10.5 Wheel offset

New CPO A7 owner here - reading all the forums before I pulled the trigger definitely helped my decision - belated thank you to all !

Looking to purchase some new Ferrada FR2's 20x10.5 with 35et and 285/30 skins. Current setup is OEM 20x9 10 spoke 37et with 15mm spacers wrapped in 265/35 and Eibach sport springs.

Not too concerned with any rubbing since currently sitting about 27.25" from ground with no issues on the 265/35. I'll be losing some height with the 285/30. A few threads I have found mention a 30et for the 10.5's as perfect. Just not sure if anyone is running less offset without them throwing rocks at their side mirrors.

The online calculators have the 30et on 10.5 sticking out 11mm more than my current 20x9 with the spacers. Pretty sure that's as far as I want to go. Just looking for that warm and fuzzy from fellow enthusiasts.

Any feedback is welcomed.

I've seen a 25et look perfect. I just got a set of Niche's, 20x10.5, 27et. I won't mount them until early April. Hope that helps.

Thanks Jesse - I may end up getting the spacer kit from ECS and try out the 5 and 10mm. Which Niche? I almost went with the Form since I want the bronze finish, but the Ferrada kept calling my name...

I have 20x9 ET 35 with 265 35 20, and added 12.5mm spacers all around (sport suspension). For me, it's perfect, and I would not want to go any wider, however, you can prob handle a bit more given an even lower stance with lower profile tires.

Thanks for the tread !! looking at going with some 20x10's with a 25MM ET and wasnt too sure about fitment. currently running the OEM 20x9 37mm's on 265 35's and was gonna jus swap the rims and keep running the 265's. is this doable ? also on sport suspension

yea man they are nice.

I went with the Niche Surge M114. This is my first "car" and looking at wheels was exhausting. Buying truck wheels that I was just going to beat the **** out of was way easier

Like the look of that one. Same here, coming from '08 6.4L F250 that was hard to get rid of - lots of time/effort on upgrades, but was time to move on and enjoying the TDI gas mileage over the 17mpg I used to get...

20x10s with 265s is perfectly fine. That's what I have wrapped on my 20x10 Niche's and there is no noticeable stretch.
