2nd gear problems
recently had a service done on my gearbox at 98k miles. 7 speed. Recently purchased the car and didn't have any record of there being any service done on the gearbox prior.
Noticed in 2nd gear that if I am in traffic and in 2nd, whenever I let my foot off the accelerator the car is a bit juddery, revs drop, but not how you would expect. They drop but almost spike up and down and feels like there is quite a lot of resistance. You can also see this on the rev dial. Wasn't sure if this was normal or not as this is my first auto car and audi but it only happens in 2nd gear. Changing up and down any gears is completely normal and smooth apart from this.
if the car is in manual mode, the revs drop as you would expect, with no juddering or spike when loosing speed. All of this is in traffic going maybe 10- 15mph and letting off the throttle when the car in front is slowing down.
Took it back to audi and they did an adaption drive and nothing changed. If this normal then cool, just wanted to check.
thanks.
