4 spoke to 3 spoke

Hi all,

Just got myself a 2014 3 spoke steering wheel with paddles (S-Line) to replace my 2011 4 Spoke with paddles.. the new wheel has all the same buttons as the current one.. should this be a straight swap over without going into the VCDS thingy

Sounds like a direct swap. Before pulling the old wheel off the spline, look for index marks so your new wheel is positioned correctly.

From what I've seen on same topics, you will need a new airbag - three spoke and four spoke airbags are different. If the buttons are exactly the same, then you will not need to code it.
