Default A7 Braking System! Help!!!

Hello everybody!I just got a question that has been bothering me for a while since I got my new A7 3 weeks ago, I had an A4 n A5 before, however, I found the braking system on my A7 is too soft, it not that sensitive as the A4 n A5 does, and I need to push harder on brake pedal to make the car react quickly,it's not like the brake won't works, just that I feel quite uncomfortable!
I brought the car back to dealer for inspection, n I was told the car is fine,as the A7 is just released in my country, the technician is unsure whether is braking system is designed like this or there is something wrong with this A7, Can anyone help me with my question? Thx and forgive my English!

Brakes need a "brake in" period before they are at their best performance. Perhaps you have not gotten to that point or have used them too hard right away.

I just got a new A7 and was experiencing the same thing. Thanks for the heads up. I also felt they were a little soft.

I love the car, its my first Audi.

I believe that the pedal will feel soft even with the pads bedded in. Bedded in pads will shorten stopping distances but it will not effect the feel.

Generally a soft pedal is a problem with air in the hydrolic lines or older rubber hoses feeding the calipers. Since the car is relatively new, I would rule out both causes.

Try another test drive to see if all the A7's are the same or if yours has a issue.

I would agree that the A7 brake feel is soft compared to the other Audi's I've owned. After 6K miles I've gotten used to it, but at first it was a surprise.

I have a 2000 A6 2.7t with the same problem, its driving me crazy. The funny thing is that I have a 99 with the same setup thats brakes perfectly fine. I'm not sure, is the A7 supercharged? that would be the only difference between the both of mine. Let me know if you figure this out.

I have the exact same experience, very soft pedal. I had an A5 before, not the same. Currently, they gave me a A8L as a loaner, and it has a much harder pedal, as you'd expect. So the A7 stands alone with a soft pedal, and it is actually sort of strange. Not sure if there is anything that can be done...

I noticed that when I test drove an A7 a while ago. I just picked up one and still the same soft pedal. One of the big car magazines mentioned that in an article...I'm pretty much accustomed to it by now, so it doesn't bother me.

They must gave you a old A8L, coz so far I am told that A7 and new A8 have exact same braking system, they both feel soft, the old A8 is different, I think there is nothing we can do if this is the originally factory setting, so just try to get used to it

Had 5k on the dial, current model. Just 'felt' harder and more responsive. Could be subjective, but who knows!
