A7 cannot communicate with steering rack
My 2012 A7 has been in the shop for about 2 months for engine repairs during which the battery was disconnected.
The engine repairs are finally done but now there is no communication with the steering rack. Steering works but there is no data at all from the rack and no diagnostics available.
The shop seems pretty confident that the rack is plugged in but their diagnostics equipment can't pull any info from the steering rack.
Has anyone encountered this problem? Any suggestions?
