Yes, it will void your warranty.

Your warranty is provided by Audi corporate; the dealer is just the middleman.

Search the forums for "TD1 designation".

It is Stasis that will provide a 4 yr/ 50,000 mile warranty if installed by an authorized dealer.

Correct. Much like Dinan does with BMW; the Stasis warranty for their products is 4yr/50k added to your car at time of install which basically matches what the factory normally would honor. Since these guys R&D their products so much often with Audi's input and assistance; you're pretty okay with their stuff. Have had my Stasis exhaust since Sept and no issues. Great work and quality. Am DEFINATELY looking forward to the ECU upgrade. Rob

It's DEFINITELY not that Simple: search the forums, lots of controversy

Stasis provides a warranty, but it has potential to void parts of your Audi Warranty

Most dealers are uneducated about the real situation, and are just eager to say whatever the customer wants to hear in order to sell more STASIS upgrades

Read that whole convo to get the real story

It's not at all like what DINAN was doing with BMW, that was a great partnership. BMW Extended the OEM warranty to cover the Dinan Parts when purchased/installed at a BMW Dealer.

Audi has been very clear on the situation: they are NOT Partnering with Stasis.

Wow thats not good news if it voids some of the factory warranty.
For you A7 owners like my self you better do your homework on this one and find out the real truth from your dealer in writting before you get any type of ECU upgrade or you may pay a heavy price ($) if something brakes after.

Will the S7 use a different transmission and other mechanisms to transfer the power to the wheels? If it's only the engine that's different (and of course with some others) then ECU upgrade won't hurt so much, unless your luck runs out. LOL.
