ACC/Brake Guard, interior light switch, seat memory light, intermittent start
I have a 2012 A7 that started having some issues a few months ago. First the ACC/ Brake Guard light came on stating it wasn't working. Then the lights in the rear of the car started turning on and off randomly. The interior rear light switch in the upper center console stopped working too. Then the seat memory light went out. The seat memory function still works. Lastly, when I go to get in the car and try to start it, it won't start and says something about tire pressure. I open the door and turn the car off then close the door and try to start it again and it starts up just fine. I've taken it to my local foreign car mechanic and he said it was either one of two computers up by the camera and light switch by the sunroof. He suggested I take it to the dealership to confirm the diagnosis before the repair. I took it in yesterday and they said it was a wiring harness that would cost around $2800 to replace and include removing the windshield. I spoke to my mechanic again and he thinks they've misdiagnosed the problem. Has anyone experienced any of these issues? Thanks in advance.
