Default Question Stock A7 wheel and tires

I am sure it’s on here somewhere but cannot find it.

Question is I have a stock 2012 A7 and want to put 20” wheels

without changing suspension or adding spacers.

- what size wheels for front and rears
- offset for front and rears
- what size tires can I go without rubbing issues

thank you in advance

My stock 2012 A7 has

Size: 20x9 Front & Rear 10-Parallel-Spoke
Bolt Pattern: 5 x 112
Offset: 37mm
Tires: 265-35-R20 tires.

Same size front and rear. No issues (obviously, it's stock).

If you're going to lower the car at all you can go down maybe 1" and my stock wheel+tire still work without rubbing.

You can go to 275/35/20's without issue on the 10-spoke rims.

Found some other wheels I am interested in and I plugged in the numbers to the chart. Looks like everything clears, but do I have the fender parameters correct? and does besides being able to rotate tires doe having different size wheel and tires front to back
make a difference?

Also these are the wheels I am interested in and using 265/35/20 for front and 275/35/20 for rear. I dont want the wheels to stick out of the wheel well and dont want them to rub during turns

Thank you in advance

Maybe I'm wrong, but on a car with all-wheel drive you probably need to keep the same size tire diameter (and revolutions per mile) front to back. No problem going bigger or smaller than stock as long as the fronts and rears match.

Another site to use besides the wheel-size one is https://www.willtheyfit.com/index.ph...0-5&offset2=42

This is true to a certain degree. Having the same overall diameter front to back is key for the quattro but same overall diameter as OEM is key for accurate speedo reading.

As long as you are within Audi's requirements for differences you are fine.
