Album art on MMI using ipod

is anyone able to get the album art to appear or play video from the ipod connection?

just did a quick search and to get album art and video to work through an ipod you need the following cable
4F0-051-510-R, i just ordered one will post again and let everyone know if it works.

Which iPod do you have? if it is one with the old 30-pin connector, I can say that with this cable, it will work. You will also be able to play video with it.

For the new iPods/iPhones/iPads with the "Lightning" connector...so far this has not been the case

I can confirm..

I have the new Ipod Nano with the New Lightning port. I bought the .2m lightning to 30 pin adaptor from the Apple store as well.

2013 a7, and I am using the cable that my car came with, the Apple adaptor (Mentioned Above) connected into the nano.. I DO NOT have any album covers or video capabilities.

i just go the new ipod "plus" cable, the red one, part no. 4F0-051-510-R. i am using a 3rd gen ipod touch and can confirm the album art and video is fully functional.
