Another A7 Copycat!

Yesterday James Healey of USA Today (unable to supply link) reported the new Chevy Impala will resemble the Audi A7. Pics provided even have the "nougat brown" interior.

Yes, they both have four wheels and two taillights!

The A7 is an iconic design, one that's well captured by raslam77's avatar.

That said, the A7 has always reminded me of another of my favorites, the Alfa Romeo GTV4 and GTV6.

I Googled for the pics and found there's at least one Audi dealer who agrees!

Actually its a throwback to an Audi 100 Coupe

Audi A7 is a direct homage/throwback to the Audi 100 Coupe (Pic Attached).

I've never seen the old 100 as a coupe, thanks. The Alfa GTV/6 was a terrific car. I drove one 30 years ago, and wish they were still produced (updated of course). The Alfa must have subconsciously been on my mind when I fell for the A7.
