BCM issues
Hi all!
I have an Audi A7 that was in a crash. I’ve repaired all the damage, but the car was left standing for over a year.
Now I’m having issues with Component Protection. I contacted a guy with online ODIS to program it, but he said the problem is that the gateway isn’t sending the VIN to the other modules.
I found that the BCM was water-damaged, so I bought a used one and resoldered the EEPROM from the original unit — but the issue remains.
Has anyone dealt with something like this or knows how to proceed?
It’s really annoying — I’ve fixed the car, installed a new PCV from the 3.2 FSI, replaced the charger pulley, and got everything ready for driving, but I can’t because of stupid CP.
Any help would be appreciated!
