I have a 2016 A7 and had the front rotors replaced at 5k , 15k and now they need replaced again at 24k and Audi is refusing to pay even though it has been an ongoing issue. After about 5k I get this pulsating in the front when braking. I also do not drive aggressively. Starting to really get me upset and if I should just dump it or go aftermarket? Thoughts?

Definitely not normal and sounds like a defect somewhere. Not sure what the warranty is on such parts, but i would either check with another dealer, or your next call should be to Audi of America customer care.
Rotors should last longer than 10K unless you're track-racing the car.. I have aftermarket rotors with the Akebono ceramic pads which have been excellent with no brake dust.
So I got the big middle finger from Audi experience center basically saying the breaks are only covered for 12 months or 12m miles from date of purchase. They are blaming it on my driving habits. Audi St Paul is doing me a "favor" by replacing them for around $900. I am so upset to be going on 3 sets of rotors in the first basically 20k since that is when the 3rd time is starting happening. You pay 70-80k for a car and expect better service. I don't know I may need to find a 3rd party shop in MN!

I had same issue as you with my 2016 Audi A7 rotors. My initial front rotors started making noise and vibration at 8k miles and only 9 months of ownership. I had them replaced under warranty and 13 months later they began to vibrate again slightly but not as bad as the first set. I was so annoyed and even my dealership who I have great relationship with couldnt help because of the 12 months or 12k miles whichever comes first from Audi. I have a 2012 Audi A8l and 2014 Audi A6 and both of them have far stronger brakes than the crappy OEM brakes and rotors on the A7. Also those cars dont have issues of rotors warping at very low miles like the A7 and I have gone up to 50k on front rotors and 80k on the rear rotors for the A8L!!! So there is some discrepancy between the quality and durability of the OEM A7 rotors.
Anyways, I dumped the crappy OEM rotors and pads and went with adams custom rotors and euro ceramic pads and WOW what a big difference! The A7 stops much faster and effortlessly without any noise or vibration or fade. I am at 2k miles with them and I love them.
I was so uneasy with the standard brakes and rotors as they were TOOO soft and mushy and couldnt stop the A7 fast enough like the A8 or A6 and felt very cheap. The new set up is amazing and I highly recommend it. I will send you some pics later. A few other A7 owners have adams rotors and love them without issues.
I have the same issue with my '16 A7 and Audi and Jim Ellis Audi basically gave me the middle finger. It even took the service manager at Jim Ellis almost a month to respond to me and didn't even offer a discount on the replacements. I've purchased 2 A7s from Jim Ellis ('12 and '14) and my '16 has been serviced exclusively with them. So at this point I'm done with Jim Ellis! I reached out to Audi South Atlanta and they immediately offer me a $200 discount and said they will reach out to Audi for further assistance. That is much more than Jim Ellis offered me...
I have an appointment on Monday so I will update later.
