Climate Control Question...little black button?

Climate Control Question...little black button?
Hello...my car has 3-zone climate control. Right next to the fan control **** is a little black button (lower right side), at least it appears to be a button. Does anyone know what that's for? I also noticed it on the 4-zone climate control, but on those it's between the AC and OFF button. Can't find anything about it in the Owners Manual or Audi online tutorials. Just curious...thanks, Mark

I always wondered why in Auto the side (between driver and passenger) that is getting more sunlight has the fan at a higher speed, I knew there was a sensor somewhere but I didn't know where

Thanks for all your replies...on page 47 in that manual, I see that it's mentioned, but not pointed out.
Regardless, I'll trust the general consensus that it's some sort of light/temp sensor.

Thanks for this guys. I just picked up my new A4 today and was puzzled by this as well. I thought it was a button but couldnt find anything in the manual. The manual labels everything on the climate unit but that!
