cold weather package/

With the cold weather package you get a heated steering wheel.Mine turns on and gets warm,but then it seems to shut off.Does anyone know if this recycles itself or if it's on a thermostat of some sort.

The button on the steering wheel is the on and off switch. When you turn on the warmer on, it stays on until you turn it off. Even if you turn the car off and restart, the steering wheel warmer goes back on until you turn it off w the button. The wheel will get warmer but not hot.

I would be rather disappointed if it didn't have a thermostat

I think the nut between the steering wheel and the seat is to blame.

A question came to mind today; do the heated/ventilated seats work on the backs as well as the bottom? Same question for back seats?

The heating does. I can't speak for the ventilation, I don't have that option.
