Cupholder Problem
I wish Audi would offer us something to modify/ change them out ...
Take a large plastic drink cup (McD's works fine), and cut it off so that it fits flush with the top of the cup holder "hole". Push it down into the A7 cup holder and it wedges the spring loaded fingers back; you can easily slip any cup (styrofoam included) into the larger opening without it causing a problem. If you're neat in the cutting, it's hardly noticeable and works perfectly.
Admittedly, the cup you're using may slip around slightly, but it does stay in the holder. The cup you insert into the "hole" also provides some protection in the event of a spill - past experiences posted to the forum describing spills are pretty bad, if there is nothing to catch the liquid.
I was skeptical until I tried it - works just fine for me.
