Custom Subwoofer
I thought the sound systems offered in the A7 was unimpressive.The B&O was expensive and did not sound $5000.00 better then the stock unit. I ultimately ended up with the Bose system but I still thought it needed something extra. The main deficiency was in the base response so I added a custom 8 inch Hertz subwoofer in the rear cubby hole in the trunk. I also added an a Pinnacle Gold 300 watt amplifier. Now it sounds like it should have right from the factory. Here are some pics....

There is another cubby hole in the trunck on the driver side. The existing Bose amp resides there. The new amp piggybacks onto the the Bose amp. You will also need to add a "high voltage line converter" that will convert the Bose speaker outputs to RCA plugs. These will plug into the new subwoofer amp. I used an AudioControl LC2i
