Disable keyless all together
Hi
I'm looking for a a7 as a next car but the whole keyless system is just a security risk in my eyes.
Can it be disabled?
I've seen some users saying on 2018 onwards it can be disabled by mmi
But what about cars before that? Can they be at least disabled via vcds?

How are you gonna get around the keyless start when there is no where to plug a key in to in order to start the car.
Personally I enjoy the keyless entry and keyless start. I wish all my cars had it.

I actually think ive got this wrong, the keyless go is to start the car right?
The doors opening without pressing button the key fob - is another feature? that not all audi a7s have as standard - is that right?

For my US version 2012 A7 I have keyless start as long as the key fob is in the car., just push the start button to start or stop the car.
For the doors I can lock or unlock with the key fob, press the little button on the door to lock or unlock (provided I have the key fob) or I can just grab the handle and open (provided I have the key fob)
AND I have found out by accident NOT to have the key fob in my pocket when washing the car because the water running over and behind the handle will constantly lock or unlock the car doors
